Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY is a special way to celebrate the games and worlds of Nintendo. The free event will feature a wide variety of different activities that attendees of all ages can participate in – even if you don’t have any gaming experience at all – with something for everyone around every corner.

Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY will feature different areas themed to an assortment of Nintendo games with various experiences and activities. Some of these activities include:

  • Nintendo Switch gameplay: Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY will feature gameplay from a wide variety of Nintendo Switch games, including Super Mario Bros. Wonder, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet and more. You can also participate in the “Mario Dojo,” a fast and frantic challenge over three rounds of three different Mario games!
  • Meet & greets: Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY will definitely not be short on iconic characters. Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Kirby and other familiar faces like Isabelle from the Animal Crossing games will be in attendance to meet and take photos with fans.
  • Memorable photo opportunities: Looking to capture some one-of-a-kind photos? Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY will feature photo opportunities galore! From statues of Link and Zelda from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to a walkthrough of larger-than-life Kirby and the Forgotten Land sculptures and an immersive experience inspired by Animal Crossing: New Horizons, there will be plenty of places to snap a memorable pic and share it with friends and family.
  • Live stage: Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY will feature a main stage where we will host live stage events including daily special appearances from Mario Ambassador, Charles Martinet, as well as finals for the following three tournaments:
    • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: AU/NZ Championship 2024 – Saturday 31st August
    • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: AU/NZ Championship 2024 – Saturday 31st August
    • Splatoon 3: AU/NZ Championship 2024 – Sunday 1st September

  • Pop-up My Nintendo Store: If you travel to Nintendo Live 2024 SYDNEY, don’t forget to leave room in your suitcase! At the event, you’ll be able to stop by the pop-up My Nintendo Store to browse and purchase a variety of different merchandise, including exclusive merchandise and event themed exclusive items.
