RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army
ATLUS announced their supernatural action RPG RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army will launch on the 19th of June on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Those who pre-order will receive a Raidou Glasses bonus: a set of Taisho-era glasses for Raidou to don in-game.
RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army was announced during today’s Nintendo Direct. Developed in Japan and made with the care and focus by the ATLUS team, the game is a faithful remaster of the PlayStation 2 action RPG Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army™. The game features an overhauled battle system, enhanced graphics, full voiceover added to the main story, and quality-of-life enhancements to improve the gameplay experience.
In RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army, a young heiress approaches the Narumi Detective Agency with a strange request… to kill her. Without any further explanation, the girl is kidnapped. Apprentice detective Raidou Kuzunoha XIV, who moonlights as a Devil Summoner assigned to protect the Capital, is on the case. Raidou investigates all across the city, which includes entering the Dark Realm–a dangerous juncture between the real world and the netherworld where demons abound.
Become Raidou Kuzunoha and work with your ally demons to unravel the mysteries that block your path. What was once a missing persons matter soon spirals into a conspiracy that will shake not only the Capital, but the entire nation.
ATLUS also hosted a “The Return of Raidou Kuzunoha | World Spotlight” special premiere today, showing a first look at the game and an interview with the Game Director, Kazuyuki Yamai (Shin Megami Tensei™, Devil Summoner™). The livestream (both dubbed and subbed) featured further details about the game’s narrative, updates, and enhancements.
A title recruitment campaign also starts today where titles for Raidou created by fans will be implemented in-game in free DLC available after launch. The campaign will be hosted on the ATLUS West’s channel on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook. Please visit those channels for more details.
