Pushing the envelope in Laser Cinema, Hisense C2 and C2 Ultra, out now at Australian retailers

Hisense, a global leader in Laser Home Cinema technology, is excited to announce the Australian availability of its much-anticipated C2 and C2 Ultra 4K TriChroma Laser Mini Projectors. First unveiled at CES 2025, the C2 and C2 Ultra – affectionately referred to as the C2 family – offer a compact yet powerful solution for customers seeking a premium home entertainment experience.

Powered by Hisense’s proprietary LPU Digital Laser Engine, the C2 and C2 Ultra elevate the definition of premium home entertainment by offering stunning image clarity in screen sizes ranging from an immersive 65-inches to a breathtaking 300-inches.

Chris Kotis, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Hisense ANZ, said, “We were blown away by the response our C2 and C2 Ultra received at CES2025, echoing feedback from the Australian market and retailers that more and more customers are favouring bigger-screen, immersive entertainment. With the introduction of the range, we’re aiming to redefine the way people experience movies, sport and other content at home, bringing cinema-quality performance into living rooms across the country.”

Versatile big screen projection coupled with class leading innovation

Continuing Hisense’s commitment to developing industry leading product across the home entertainment sector, the C2 and C2 Ultra projectors harness the power of Hisense’s proprietary LPU Digital Laser Engine, enhanced with Auto Magic AI and DTS:X, to deliver a premium entertainment experience.

These technologies deliver an intelligent entertainment experience, intuitively detecting the screen surface, recognising its texture (matte, concrete etc.) and obstacles (light fittings, switches) and intelligently optimises and adapts to ensure customers experience the ultimate entertainment possible. When combined with the C2 and C2 Ultra’s innovative gimbal design – which offers 360° horizontal and 135° vertical rotation – the range seamlessly optimises its picture and audio, ensuring that TV shows, sports or video games are perfectly tuned to any setting—whether projected onto a screen, wall, or even the ceiling.

Both the C2 and C2 Ultra utilise Hisense’s advanced TriChroma technology to deliver a clear, sharp and true to life image with IMAX Enhanced certification and Dolby Vision support. The projectors can display images from 65-inches up to an impressive 300-inches, with the C2 offering 2,000 ANSI lumens of peak brightness and the C2 Ultra reaching 3,000 ANSI lumens of peak brightness which deliver bright and vivid colours in stunning clarity that covers 110% of the BT.2020 colour gamut.

Take your home entertainment experience to the next level with C2 Ultra

The C2 Ultra builds on C2’s already-premium offering with even more features, designed to take the laser home cinema experience to the next level. Customers can enjoy enveloping sound with the C2 Ultra’s integrated subwoofer; unbeatable immersion with the C2 Ultra’s ‘Designed for Xbox’ plug-and-play optimisation; and enhanced versatility with its optical zoom capability (0.9 ~ 1.5:1), which enables customers to enjoy breathtaking display no matter where the device is in the room.

“With an industry-leading number of patents in Laser innovation, it’s no secret we are passionate about the category and are dedicated to pushing beyond what’s possible in the space. Our team has worked tirelessly to perfect every detail across both the C2 and C2 Ultra – from ultra-vivid colours and deep contrast to seamless connectivity and sleek design. We’re thrilled to bring the C2 family to market from this month and look forward to seeing the big-screen appetite continue to grow, ” Kotis concluded.
