PlayStation Australia Today Celebrates 25 years of gaming history with the launch of PlayStation Classic
The original PlayStation was introduced to the world when it launched in Japan on December 3, 1994. Now, 25 years on to the day, Sony Interactive Entertainment is celebrating the official launch of PlayStation Classic.
Players can relive the nostalgia of experiencing the moments that changed gaming forever, rediscovering the groundbreaking console experience that started it all.
PlayStation Classic comes pre-loaded with 20 classic titles which will all be available to play in their original format, including fan-favourites Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, R4 Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3 and Wild Arms
The mini console is approximately 45% smaller than the original PlayStation, and it emulates the original’s look and feel by featuring the same controllers and similar packaging.
PlayStation Classic is now available to purchase from select retailers for a recommended retail price of $149.99 AUD.
