PlayStation Australia shares three announcements
PlayStation Australia is delighted to share not one, but three announcements today. A PS5 system update adds new features including a personalised Welcome hub, Helldivers 2 The Chemical Agents Warbond launches 19 September, and Until Dawn PC specs and features are revealed.
PS5 system update adds Welcome hub, Party Share, personalised 3D audio profiles, adaptive controller charging, and more
PlayStation Australia is happy to announce a new PS5 system software update that introduces a number of new features, including Welcome hub, a new personalised space with customisable widgets and backgrounds in your PS5 home screen. It also introduces the ability to share party voice chat links on messaging and social media apps, rolling out globally in the coming weeks.
PS5 beta features rolling out globally from today include personalised 3D audio profiles for headphones and earbuds, the ability to enable Remote Play for individual users, and adaptive charging for the DualSense wireless controller, DualSense Edge wireless controller, PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers, and Access controller available now for the slimmer PS5 model (and will be available for the PS5 Pro).

Helldivers 2 The Chemical Agents Warbond launches 19 September
Helldivers 2 Warbond: Chemical Agents launches 19 September with new offensive gear, stratagem variants, more emotes and the new player title of Expert Exterminator.
New offensive gear includes a high-pressure sprayer, the TX-41 Sterilizer, as well as the AX/TX-13 “Guard Dog” with Dog Breath that won’t let the bugs get the drop on you before it hoses them down with its corrosive gas sprayer. Chemical Agents also adds another set of patterns for your Hellpods, Pelican-1, and exosuit in Mustard.

Until Dawn PC features and specs revealed, out 5 October (AEST)
The terrifying Until Dawn is launching on PC for the first time on 5 October (AEST) with advanced graphical features, customisability, accessibility features and runs on a wide range of hardware.
Highlights of Until Dawn PC features include full DualSense controller support, cutting-edge upscaling technology with NVIDIA DLSS 3 & AMD FSR 3, support for ultrawide aspect ratio play and ray tracing, as well as unlocked frame rate.
