PLAY ASSASSIN’S CREED SHADOWS BEFORE LAUNCH AT FORTRESS SYDNEY
Today, Ubisoft ANZ announced that players can visit Fortress Sydney to play Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the upcoming installment in the Assassin’s Creed® franchise set in Feudal Japan, prior to the game’s launch.
Players can visit Fortress Sydney on Friday, March 14, from 4:00PM – 10:00 PM AEDT to go hands-on on with the game, immerse themselves in the Assassin’s Creed brand and have the opportunity win fantastic prizes:
- Hands-on with Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Head to the Arena to secure your spot for a 30-minute hands-on session with the game, with a limited number of exclusive Assassin’s Creed Shadows pins to giveaway to those that play.
- Assassin’s Creed Trivia: Test your knowledge of the Creed from 7:00 – 8:00 PM in the Tavern. Register in teams of five on the night to take part, and each member of the winning team will receive an Assassin’s Creed Shadows Collector’s Edition.
- Assassin’s Creed x Magic the Gathering: Head upstairs to 2315 Bar for Mana on Tap, Fortress’ community-focused Magic the Gathering event. Open to players of every skill level, Ubisoft ANZ will be giving away a limited number of Assassin’s Creed Beyond Booster packs to players that bring their MtG deck.
- Limited Edition Food & Drink: Take your tastebuds to Feudal Japan with limited edition food and beverage items inspired by Assassin’s Creed Shadows. These bespoke menu items will be discounted for all attendees.
Led by Ubisoft Québec*, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will immerse players in 16th century Japan as they experience the intertwined stories of Naoe, an adept shinobi Assassin from the Iga Province, and Yasuke, the powerful samurai of historical legend. Players will explore their personal journeys, encounter pivotal historical figures, and shape the duo’s shared destiny as Japan treads a brutal path toward unification. Amid the chaos of a land in turmoil, fractured by war and threatened by foreign influences, Daimyo Oda Nobunaga’s relentless ambition will shape the fate of both heroes as they forge a path for a new Creed to emerge in Japan.
Players who pre-order any edition of Assassin’s Creed Shadows will gain free access to the ‘Claws of Awaji’ expansion, launching later in 2025. This expansion will introduce a brand-new open-world region with over 10 hours of additional content plus new skills, gear, abilities, and a new weapon for Naoe, the Bō. In this new adventure, players will journey to the mysterious island of Awaji, where Naoe and Yasuke will be relentlessly chased by the Sanzoku Ippa, a dangerous new faction threatening the region. Avoiding the traps and ambushes set by these deadly new foes, players will feel the tension of being hunted.
