OUT NOW: Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition on Xbox
Tonight, at gamescom’s Opening Night Live, Xbox and World’s Edge surprise-announced that Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition is OUT NOW on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass, as well as to purchase on the Microsoft Store.
Starting today, players can enjoy the award-winning real time strategy game built from the ground up for Xbox players, including native inputs for Xbox controller, a console-specific user interface, and an intuitive new tutorial designed to help onboard new players.
Play through four campaigns covering 500 years of human history or pick up and play any of the 10 civilizations in multiplayer or single player matches. Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition supports up to 4K resolution and 60fps on Xbox Series X, and 1080p and up to 60fps on Xbox Series S.
