Perennial heartstring-pullers Nomada Studio and emotional wrecks Devolver Digital are pleased to announce that Neva, the emotionally-charged new adventure from the visionary team behind critically acclaimed indie hit Gris, will arrive on October 15 for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series S|X, priced $19.99.
Neva chronicles the moving tale of a young woman, Alba, and her lifelong bond with a magnificent wolf as they embark on a thrilling adventure through a dying world.
Following a traumatic encounter with dark forces, Alba finds herself bound to a curious, mischievous wolf cub. Working together, the pair will help each other overcome increasingly dangerous situations.
The wolf will grow and mature over time – as will Alba’s relationship with it – as they traverse this cursed, decaying world.
Building on what Nomada Studio achieved with Gris, players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and a haunting original score from Gris composers Berlinist. Unlike their previous effort, Neva also features light, intuitive combat that sees players employ both sword and sidekick against hordes of monstrous creatures.
