MTG Innistrad: Crimson Vow … welcome to the Wedding of the Century!
Courtesy of Wizards of the Coast and Double Jump, we had the chance to experience the new Crimson Vow set for Magic the Gathering Innistrad that is bloody delightful! Not to mention this clever bit of marketing of a locked coffin!
This new set from MTG boasts 267 cards with iconic characters such as the count himself, Dracula! Fight for the side of vampire with Blood Tokens or train up your humans to fight the onslaught of darkness!
Needless to say, the new set will give players plenty of options as they attempt to thwart their enemies on the battlefields with three new mechanics, training which is a power boost for enemies fighting more powerful creatures, cleave that changes a spell’s component and blood tokens that allows vampires the chance to “sacrifice” a card for their benefit. While it is the last MTG set for 2021, it’s a great way to finish the year that adds another layer of challenge to the world of Innistrad!
