Missy Higgins announces final Victorian ‘The Second Act Tour 2024′ encore show at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl – proudly presented by ALWAYS LIVE

Over the last five months Missy Higgins has criss-crossed Australia, attracting unanimous raves for “The Second Act Tour”. This uniquely evocative live show celebrates The Sound Of White 20th anniversary with Missy performing that landmark album in its entirety after a stripped-back opening set featuring songs from her forthcoming album – The Second Act.

With the new release finally landing on September 6 (via EMI Music Australia, pre-order here), Missy today announced a final Victorian encore show, presented by ALWAYS LIVE and Frontier Touring at the iconic Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne on Friday 6 December.

Frontier Member presale commences Thursday 15 August, 11am AEST before tickets go on sale Friday 16 August at 11am AEST. Tickets via frontiertouring.com/missyhiggins

“The Second Act Tour: Final Victorian Encore Show” will include two of Missy’s high-profile musical friends as special guests, Dan Sultan and Mia Wray. This will be Missy’s biggest headlining show since 2005 when The Sound Of White was riding high. It’s a phenomenal way to cap off what’s been a massive year for Missy.

“I never imagined it would take me most of 2024 to do this Australian tour”, Missy confesses, “but it’s been such a great experience on every level that I’m glad the band and I will get to share it a few more times with all these big crowds. There have been lots of Victorians posting about how disappointed they were to miss out on getting a chance to see this two act show so now they’ll have no excuse!”
