McDonald’s iconic Collector’s Edition Glasses are coming to Australia

McDonald’s global Collector’s Edition Glasses featuring nostalgic designs are coming to Australia, available for free with the purchase of any Large Quarter Pounder Meal.

From 14 August, for a limited time, there will be six premium collectible glasses with embossed designs available to inspire customers to relive those special moments and create nostalgic joy for a new generation.

The new Collector’s Edition Glasses put a fresh spin on classic collectibles from McDonald’s. Each glass spotlights iconic McDonald’s keepsakes from different eras that customers cherish, including the Grimace Mug in 1976, Pet Lovin’ Barbie in 1999, Hello Kitty Crew Keychain in 2000, and Shrek from ‘Shrek the Third’ in 2007 and more.

Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director for McDonald’s Australia said: “McDonald’s collectibles are as iconic as they come. From toys to vintage posters, plates, glasses, merch, games and trading cards, these keepsakes are more than just collector’s items – they unlock some of our fans’ favourite McDonald’s memories.

“The new collectible glasses commemorate some of our most unforgettable designs and global collaborations over the years, allowing longtime fans to relive treasured moments while helping a new generation make their own lasting memories.

“There’s an undeniable thrill when you snag that one elusive McDonald’s collectible or the final piece to complete your collection – head into your local Macca’s to grab your Collector’s Edition Glass, while they’re still available.”

Available in McDonald’s Australia alongside more than 30 countries, the Collector’s Edition Glasses will be free with the purchase of any Large Quarter Pounder Meal including the Quarter Pounder BBQ Bacon and Crispy Onions, Quarter Pounder Deluxe, Quarter Pounder and Double Quarter Pounder, as part of the limited time winter menu in Australia. `

The new Collector’s Edition Glasses will be available across Macca’s restaurants nationwide, via the MyMacca’s app and McDelivery from Wednesday, 14 August to Tuesday, 3 September, while stocks last.
