Logitech G Releases Full Version of MIXLINE: A Free and Easy-to-Use Audio Mixing Solution for Gamers and Creators

Today, Logitech G is excited to release the full-release version of MIXLINE beginning July 16, 2024. MIXLINE is free and available for Windows 10 (21H2 or later) and Windows 11, in 22 languages.

“If you have more than one audio source while streaming, gaming, or even just wearing your headphones, then MIXLINE is for you,” said Daniel Bowen, Senior Global Product Manager for MIXLINE.

MIXLINE is the latest addition to the Logitech G ecosystem of solutions for gamers and creators. It solves the age-old problem of managing multiple audio sources, mixing, routing, and monitoring, all with a very small system resource requirement. Whether gaming or creating, MIXLINE is audio mixing made easy. It’s intuitive and powerful and the perfect solution for gamers and streamers who want to ensure the audio of their streams is perfect every single time.

Less time configuring audio gives gamers and creators more time to craft their gameplay, connect with community members, and enjoy the fun of gaming!

“Anyone who has worked with PC audio routing and mixing knows it can be challenging to learn and manage with the tools that currently exist or with proprietary systems that only work in certain streaming scenarios,” said Andrew Coonrad, Head of Marketing, G HUB. “We’re excited to bring the full capabilities of MIXLINE to our community, as it offers an easy and smart way to manage your PC audio for everything from gaming to full-blown content production.”

MIXLINE only requires one audio driver. Given that a computer’s CPU has limited processing power, this is key for gamers as this frees up system resources for platforms like Streamlabs Desktop, as many gamers are streaming from a single PC.

It’s easy. Select the preferred audio inputs, monitor your sound with a button, and enjoy MIXLINE’s clean and straightforward interface to manage your audio’s source, destination, and levels.

Create your mix, open Streamlabs—the perfect companion to MIXLINE—and select MIXLINE Stream or MIXLINE Record as the input for professional audio for your audience. For live streamers, using virtual audio cables can be very helpful. For instance, if you enjoy having Discord open but dislike the notification sounds or private conversations on your stream, you can conveniently route your audio to your headphones. This ensures that any audio from Discord remains private and doesn’t interfere with your stream. If you want to share music with your viewers, Mixline allows you to play music from an application that your stream can hear but won’t come through your headphones, so you can keep your game audio loud and clear.

Windows Central reported, “MIXLINE makes it easy to focus on your content and audience while still producing reliable, quality sound output in a way that is beginner-friendly and easy to learn.”

Following the closed MIXLINE Beta process, the full version of MIXLINE includes community-requested features, including customising the colours of inputs and outputs so gamers and creators can see where each source is going while monitoring what audiences are hearing. Here at Logitech G, we always take feedback from our community when developing new solutions.

Features of MIXLINE include:

• Drag, Drop, Monitor: With a clean and straightforward interface, you can drag and draw preferred audio routes, monitor sound with a single button, and connect inputs to multiple outputs.
• Mix, Stream, and Record in One, Clean Interface: Connect, route, and mix professional-quality audio in a single application. A clean and straightforward interface reduces time, is quickly set up, and efficiently manages audio.
• Independent Volume Control: MIXLINE makes adjusting the input volumes for each submix individually easier. You can also control the sound for each input and output independently.
• Customise Professional-Grade Audio: Declutter desktop space without needing an external hardware mixer, maximise stream performance and customise how audio sounds in real time.
• Max Performance: A simplified system of one driver reduces the clutter in your mix session and maximises computer performance—with no compromise on quality.

MIXLINE addresses specific challenges that PC users experience when managing their audio. It is easier, faster, and uses fewer resources, so gamers and streamers can focus on what they’re doing: gaming and creating content.

It dramatically simplifies streams, elevates content, and delivers an enjoyable experience for game streamers and creators. Without compromising quality, MIXLINE ensures the routing, mixing, and streaming process is pleasant time after time.
