LINKSYS TEAMS WITH PAX AUS TO NETWORK CONSOLE AND PC FREE-PLAY AREAS
Sydney, Australia. – 10 October, 2017 – Linksys®, a leader in home and business networking solutions, has today announced that it has signed on as the official and exclusive networking partner, for the next three years, of PAX Aus, the largest dedicated gaming festival in ANZ. Linksys will be providing a wide range of networking equipment including switches to ensure attendees experience fast and reliable networking functionality in the Console & PC free-play areas.
“The PC and Console Free-play areas are integral to PAX Aus. Having Linksys on board for the next three years to manage the networking demands of those two large-scale, complex setups means our attendees can focus on awarding bragging rights in community tournaments and no one can blame poor performance on lag. Linksys, known for the multi award winning Velop, will be showcasing that they also have a large range of SMB products. A range of Linksys Switches, Access Points and Routers will power more than 350 devices connected in the Console & PC free-play areas.
Linksys will also use this exclusive relationship to launch a new gaming router that has been built from the ground up specifically for gamers, with more details to be unveiled during the show.

With 1,000’s of attendees expected across the three-day event, PAX Aus is officially the largest dedicated video, computer and tabletop gaming festival in ANZ.
