Visual upgrades
The Lenovo Legion Pro 34WD-10 is a remarkable addition to the world of gaming monitors, offering a combination of cutting-edge technology, sleek design and exceptional performance to bring your virtual worlds to life. Although the 34WD-10 is designed with gamers and content creators in mind, this 34-inch ultrawide monitor is equipped with features that cater to both immersive gaming experiences and professional-grade visual work thanks to its 1.07 Billion Color support, True 10-bit and DisplayHDR™ TB400 which is some of the features of this OLED!
At the heart of the Legion Pro 34WD-10 is its stunning OLED display, which boasts a WQHD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. The 21:9 aspect ratio provides an expansive field of view, making it perfect for gaming, multitasking, and cinematic content consumption. The OLED panel ensures vibrant colours, deep blacks, and a contrast ratio that brings every detail to life.
With support for 98.5% DCI-P3 and 99% sRGB colour gamuts, the monitor delivers exceptional colour accuracy, making it a perfect choice for tasks that demand precision, such as photo and video editing. Those mundane office tasks will also level up with its crisp text quality and with the increased real estate at 34″, you may even find yourself more productive. The screen supports TrueSplit Technology that allows gamers to multitask efficiently by splitting the screen for simultaneous gaming and other activities, such as streaming or chatting.
One of the standout features of this monitor for gamers is its impressive refresh rate of 240Hz, coupled with an ultra-fast response time of just 0.03ms. These specifications ensure smooth and responsive gameplay, eliminating motion blur and screen tearing even during fast-paced action sequences. The inclusion of AMD FreeSync Premium Pro further enhances the gaming experience by synchronizing the monitor’s refresh rate with the GPU, providing a seamless and lag-free performance.
The Legion Pro 34WD-10 also excels in its HDR capabilities, being certified with DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400. This certification guarantees enhanced brightness levels and deeper contrasts, allowing users to enjoy HDR content with stunning clarity and realism. Whether you’re exploring dark dungeons in a game, battling it out on an alien planet or watching a high-definition movie, the monitor’s HDR performance adds a new dimension to visual immersion. There is one caveat though, you do need a graphics card that supports these features but again, this display has been designed for gamers. Also, the displays supports a KVM that allows seamless swapping of display and peripherals between two PCs, and Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes allow both PCs to display simultaneously.

In terms of design, the Legion Pro 34WD-10 is both functional and aesthetically pleasing – it looks great! Well, probably one of the best looking monitors I’ve had the pleasure of using. You can also adjust its placement thanks to its adjustable stand that allows you to move its positioning such as its height, swivel and tilt… which translates to -5° to +22° tilt, left & right 45 swivel, up to 135mm lift stand.
Further, the curved screen with an 800R curvature wraps around the user’s field of view, creating a more immersive experience while reducing eye strain during extended use. Additionally, the inclusion of smart sensors for automatic brightness adjustment and human detection showcases Lenovo’s commitment to user convenience and energy efficiency.

Gameplay: Some of the games that I trialled on the Lenovo Pro 34WD-10 included Cyberpunk 2077, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Horizon Forbidden West and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Verdict? Widescreen gaming at its best with exceptional colours, deep black and more importantly, no tearing but smooth graphics thanks to the excellent refresh rate and response time. Spider-man 2 was a truly amazing experience and further, streaming was great as was surfing the net, YouTube, photo editing in Photoshop and just general PC usage.
