Lego Ninjago Secret World of the Ninja Review
Summary: Lego Ninjago Secret World of the Ninja is another beautiful book by DK Australia!

Ninja Lego!
This book really took me by surprise with just how good it was! Beautifully presented, I was convinced it was just going to be a catalogue of sets from the Ninjago universe and I was utterly thrilled to be wrong.
Have you ever wondered about the world of Ninjago? I must admit that until reading this book I simply built the sets and liked the general look of the figures. Add to that you can totally make the sets into feudal Asian temples and other buildings! It’s a pretty versatile universe. However I utterly digress. We are dealing with the Masters of Spinjitsu here and it is a wonderful place to be.
Let me get back to presentation. The cover of the book is utterly striking and appealing to both adult readers and kids alike. It’s just a cool look. Turn the page dear reader though and the quality goes all the way through all 96 pages.
Packed with information, this title does an excellent job of letting readers know all about the characters that make up this world from a straight up documentary style perspective, to having some fun with a fictional account of how the characters themselves see each other.
The book covers back stories of characters, legendary battles and even the dragons that populate the Ninjago World. I can say with some authority that if you have a question about any part of this universe, there is a very good chance it will be answered in this title.
The writing style is perfect for all ages and for some reason despite the kid friendly nature, it still did not come across as patronising for me as an Adult Fan of Lego (AFOL). I’d certainly recommend this book to all fans, and with the addition of the exclusive Wu figure, it’s a book that collectors will want as well, especially at the low price of $24.99 RRP.
Make sure you get this one, it’s sure to fly off the shelves!
