Introducing Hisense CanvasTV: where art meets innovation

Hisense Australia, a global leader in consumer electronics and home appliances, has today announced the local arrival of CanvasTV. In a first for Hisense, CanvasTV effortlessly blends art and technology to elevate Australian living space.

With its sleek design, advanced features and interchangeable frames, the CanvasTV reimagines what a television can be, offering a unique way to personalise your home.

IMMERSIVE ART MODE

CanvasTV’s Art Mode opens a curated world of free artistic masterpieces with a collection of over 1000 pre-loaded works spanning abstract, modern, and renaissance styles that transform walls into works of art. Users are also given the option of uploading their own images and art into CanvasTV. With a quick press of the power button on the remote, Art Mode activates, allowing users to effortlessly switch between iconic artworks and personal photographs, which can be customised with rotation preferences and stylised mats.

This versatile feature turns CanvasTV into a continuously evolving artistic centerpiece featuring iconic artwork, or your favourite family, holiday or pet photos. Accessing the extensive art library is easy—just sign up for a free VIDAA account and explore the diverse collection available on the VIDAA Art App.

Energy efficiency is at the forefront of the CanvasTV’s design with power-saving capabilities in Art Mode that automatically adjusts brightness and utilises a light sensor to minimise energy consumption. Additionally, its motion sensor feature detects when viewers are present and automatically turns off the screen when the room is empty, further optimising energy usage.

“CanvasTV is more than just a television—it’s a statement piece that combines the best of art and innovation to elevate Australian homes” said Chris Kotis, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing of Hisense Australia and New Zealand. “CanvasTV unlocks a new world for Hisense, further enhancing the functionality and innovation behind our home entertainment range. It is designed to be versatile and seamlessly adapt to our customer’s lifestyle. With features such as interchangeable frames and a hi-matte screen, CanvasTV transforms your home into a gallery.”

DYNAMIC VISUALS AND SURROUND SOUND

CanvasTV’s 4K QLED with Quantum Dot Colour technology delivers over a billion shades of vibrant, lifelike colour, for a truly transcendent entertainment experience. The Hi-Matte anti-glare display ensures clarity and vibrancy unaffected by ambient light while mirroring the depth and texture of real paintings for a perfect view at all times.

Viewers will experience silky-smooth motion, regardless of content, with a 144 Hz refresh rate. CanvasTV further elevates the immersive experience with room-filling, multi-channel 2.0.2 surround sound system that envelopes audiences in rich, resonant audio whether they’re watching movies, playing games, or listening to music.

SEAMLESS DESIGN PERSONALISED TO TASTE

Further enhancing the aesthetic appeal, the CanvasTV comes with StyleSwap Frames, allowing users to change the frame to match their décor. Each CanvasTV comes with a sophisticated teak frame, and by registering their product with Hisense, consumers can redeem an additional frame in either white or walnut at no extra cost.

User-friendly design makes an expertly leveled and flush installation of CanvasTV a breeze. A precision cut-out in the rear housing seamlessly accommodates Hisense’s included UltraSlim Wall Mount, enabling the display to lie virtually flat against the wall for a streamlined, space-efficient look reminiscent of a framed artistic canvas.

INTRODUCING VIDAA U8

Finding great entertainment fast has never been easier as the CanvasTV will features the latest iteration of the VIDAA smart operating system; VIDAA U8 which integrates your favourite streaming apps including Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, Kayo, Foxtel, Stan, Optus Sport and many more in one easy-to-use interface.
