This poor Western was the worst reviewed in the series.  There was no way to relate to the story and subsequently lost much of my attention.  Frankly the only slightly entertaining part was seeing the 3000 horses in a mob moving together across the countryside of America.  The story about the trading of these animals is so slow and shallow that anyone with half a brain will be completely switched off to it all.  I have rarely said this about a film but I will say this is the worst out of all the Westerns.

The story is mainly about the American civil War and John Henry Thomas (John Wayne) is moving a mob of 3000 horses around America to sell the United States Army. Along the way there are many negotiations made about what to do with the horses (yawn!).

Although it is obvious that this opinion is biased and it is evident that my patience for such a film was tested.  The dialogue I found to be dull, the acting was ok but nothing extraordinary.  Basically there needed to be more meaning or humour or romance in the story.  You would be hard pressed to find anyone interested in the badly planned plot.  Miss this film at all costs.
