I
loved this disc and though that it was a good tribute to the first man to do
the full backflip on a motorcycle in competition, Carey Hart. This documentary
gives us a unique behind the scenes look at what makes this champion tick and
exposes his relationship with his father and brother and the support that they
have been for him over the years through his trials and tribulations.
The amount of
dedication to his sport is absolutely stunning and the story in and of itself
will having you glued to the television for the duration. Go on tour with
Carey and see what his mates think and what takes place behind the scenes on
tour with Tony Hawk.
We get to
have a look at Carey's house and the great memorabilia that he has there as
testament to a very successful career so far. Running for an hour, the disc is
absolutely packed with the good stuff that will make you very glad that you
bought the DVD.
Having been
into what we call extreme sports for a very long time now, I know the
dedication and training that these people put into their sports and these
movies let the rest of the world know that there is more to these guys than a
bunch of tattoos.
As far as
extras go on the disc there is a fair swag of stuff to work your way through.
Whilst not as in depth as the main feature, it still enhances a very good
package. Of special interest to me was the tattoos feature and the X-Games
2002 special.
Highly
recommended.
