I can be a Matilda & I can be a Socceroo Book Reviews

I can be a Matilda & I can be a Socceroo are by Kya May that is all about soccer from two different perspectives. Both books are well-written and more importantly, very relevant to the age group that they target that come to life with the colorful images.

Additionally they don’t talk down to the younger reader but rather successfully engage with them on their own level that also highlights the theme of soccer and the joys it can bring. Needless to say, younger readers will definitely resonate with these books.

Additionally, the artwork suits the premises perfectly and goes in hand-in-hand with the writing to help draw the reader in as you watch these little soccer players play. Given that and with school just about to start, they also make the perfect transition to help students get back into the zone.

Final Thoughts?

If you have younger readers who are interested in either the Matildas or Socceroos, then these books are the perfect titles that while short, deliver an exceptional read from start to finish.
