Huawei reveals latest innovations – Mate Xs, MateBook X Pro and Huawei AppGallery vision

During a virtual press conference themed “TOGETHER, Connecting Possibilities,” Huawei Consumer Business Group has announced its latest product innovations, including the Huawei Mate Xs – the next evolution of the revolutionary foldable handset – and the newly updated Huawei MateBook X Pro, as well as revealing the company’s vision for the future Huawei AppGallery.

The announcements were made by Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, during a virtual launch in Barcelona, Spain. See below for a summary of the key products set to come to Australia:

  • Mate Xs: The HUAWEI Mate Xs delivers a true FullView experience with an 8-inch outwards-folding display enabled by the new mechanical hinge design. Packed full of Huawei’s newest technology, the HUAWEI Mate Xs is considered Huawei’s most high-end device featuring the Kirin 990 5G SoC and an improved Falcon Wing Design, delivering powerful performance and a seamless user experience across smartphone and tablet modes.
  • MateBook X Pro: The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro embodies the latest notebook innovation to deliver a smooth experience in every scenario, from graphic and video editing, to gaming and multimedia content consumption. Epitomising Huawei’s signature design and craftsmanship, the Huawei MateBook X Pro Ultra features a 13.9-inch LTPS panel supporting up to 3K resolution.
  • Huawei AppGallery: Huawei has revealed its vision for the HUAWEI AppGallery, and investment towards building a secure and reliable mobile apps ecosystem. Placing privacy protection and cyber security as the top priorities, Huawei will continue to bolster the selection of top apps available across the globe.

The Australian pricing and availability of products is due to be confirmed in the coming months.
