Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds out now, exclusive to PlayStation 4
Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia is excited to announce Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds, from the acclaimed studio Guerilla Games, is available to download now via the PlayStation Store.
The DLC expansion for Horizon Zero Dawn adds a companion story to Aloy’s adventure, leading her deep into the icy borderlands of the Banuk tribe.
To get players prepared for this brand new adventure, Guerilla Games have taken to the PlayStation Blog to share a few handy tips.
Load your latest save
Players don’t need to start a brand-new game to access Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds. The expansion content is available on first playthrough or through the latest New Game+.
Check your level
Guerilla Games has tuned Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds for players with an experience level of 30 or higher. While players can access the expansion content if their level is below this threshold, they may find that Aloy’s lack of skills and/or equipment becomes too great a challenge. If that’s the case, players can complete a few quests in the base game until they’ve sufficiently leveled up.
Complete the quest “A Seeker at the Gates”
Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds adds a whole new region known as The Cut, which becomes accessible after players have completed the quest “A Seeker at the Gates”. Players at level 30 have most likely already completed this quest, but if they’re not sure they can check its completion status in the Quests menu.

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds is available now from the PlayStation Store for $29.95 AUD, available exclusively on PlayStation 4.
