Holiday Spectacular Is Back for 2024 – Australian Creators Unite to Raise Funds for Ground-Breaking Cancer Research

For the fourth year running, Cure Cancer’s Game On Cancer® initiative, Holiday Spectacular, will unite content creators all around Australia, and beyond, to fundraise for ground-breaking cancer research.

From Wednesday 23rd October through to Saturday 30th November, creators of all kinds can sign up and help support the amazing Cure Cancer researchers that are working to find a cure for all different types of cancer, like Dr. Kelly Mouchemore’s breast cancer research.

This year, Razer is coming on board as the primary sponsor of the campaign and also sponsoring a fundraising team with matched donations, contributing products as fundraising incentives as well. Team Razer will be captained by Twitch Partner PaladinAmber, and will feature some of Australia’s most well-known streamers. Additionally, frequent Game On Cancer® fundraisers, Camomo_10, iamfallfromgrace, Yakov, along with goto.game’s own JackHuddo. will be fundraising for the campaign. Iconic gaming organisation MKAU Gaming will be supporting with their own fundraising teams as well.

Streamers who are interested in joining Holiday Spectacular and fundraising can get involved by following these simple steps:

  • Sign up to fundraise on Tiltify between October 23rd and November 30th .
  • Join a fundraising team or fly solo.
  • Go live and have fun while they fundraise amongst their community.

To date, Cure Cancer’s Game On Cancer® community, the leading charity initiative in the Australian games industry, has raised over $1.5 million AUD for ground-breaking cancer research. Previous Game On Cancer® fundraisers have included some of Australia’s largest names in gaming like Loserfruit, Aliythia, Bajo and AussieAntics.
