Hisense Australia takes home entertainment innovation to new heights at CES2025
At CES 2025®, Hisense showcased an impressive range of innovative technologies and new products that push the frontier of home entertainment innovation. From the continued refinement of its flagship Mini-LED technology to the introduction of more big-screen TVs than ever before, Hisense has reaffirmed its commitment and leadership in feature-rich home entertainment.
Introducing TriChroma LED and Micro-LED: Changing the viewing game
As leaders in Mini-LED, Hisense is constantly refining its technology to make its premium technology more accessible to Australian customers. This year, Hisense is excited to announce two monumental advances in display technology that further cement the brand’s leadership in the home entertainment category; TriChroma LED and Micro-LED.
TriChroma LED represents a new benchmark in Hisense’s flagship display technology, unlocked by strides made in its proprietary Hi-View Engine chipset. TriChroma LED introduces Mini-LEDs that are able to individually display colours of red, green and blue. The result is twofold; unlocking greater brightness and colour accuracy (97% of the BT.2020 colour space, the widest colour gamut ever achieved in a MiniLED display) while simultaneously reducing energy consumption by as much as 10%. The introduction of TriChroma LEDs epitomises Hisense’s commitment to premium technology that makes it easier than ever to get the best environmentally conscious, home entertainment experience.
Also debuting at CES 2025, Hisense showcased the next-generation display technology, Micro-LED, taking its expertise in big-screen entertainment to new heights. As leaders in big-screen TV, Hisense recognised that customer demand for higher and higher resolutions was quickly approaching the pixel density (PPI) limit of traditional LCD panels. Hisense’s solution to this challenge is showcased in the 108-inch Micro LED (108MX) which features an innovative new active-matrix glass-based display that surpasses the limits of what is possible in a display panel, while being more energy efficient and delivering the premium entertainment standard that customers expect from Hisense.
The 136-inch Micro-LED (136MX) TV takes this a step further with the integration of Hisense’s independently developed next-generation Micro-LED and AI perception picture quality chipsets to display an immense 3.58m wide, ultra-smooth entertainment experience, no matter what you are watching.
“Innovation and design are central values for us at Hisense that fuel our drive to advance display technologies that bring the very best entertainment experience into Australian homes,” said Chris Kotis, Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Hisense Australia and New Zealand. “The continued refinement of our flagship display technology as well as our pursuit of the next generation of display technology embody this commitment to make premium technology accessible to all.”
Making big, bigger
Iterating on the success of the 110UX that was released in late 2024, Hisense continues to trailblaze towards offering customers choice in the ultimate big-screen category in 2025 with the launch of the largest TV of the ULED X range, the 116-inch TriChroma LED TV. The 116-inch TriChroma LED TV spearheads Hisense’s 2025 line-up, featuring an impressive 115.5 inch (almost 3 metre diagonally) 4K LCD anti-glare display. Supported by 21,000 TriChroma LED, it produces a dazzling 10,000 nits peak brightness while also integrating Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced credentials, making it the ultimate visual entertainment experience. Audibly, the 116-inch TriChroma LED TV features a 6.2.2 surround sound system, with elegantly designed visible side speakers inspired by La Défense architecture and harp-like lines, delivering a graceful audio experience in an impressive 240-degree sound field.
“As leaders in big-screen TV, our 116-inch TriChroma LED TV epitomises the next step in our pursuit of the ultimate home entertainment experience. We continue to see strong demand for big-screen viewing in Australia, demonstrating our desire to experience sports, gaming and entertainment in a premium setting from the comfort of our own homes. The 116-inch TriChroma LED TV answers this need with a world-class and category-defining solution,” said Kotis.
The 116-inch TriChroma LED TV features an ultra-thin, 35mm seamless design and a low reflection surface treatment ensures an exceptional viewing experience that integrates effortlessly into a diverse range of home settings. Discreetly hidden USB ports, accessed via a sliding mechanism, add to the clean and unified look, while the back panel features octagonal textures, symbolising strength and stability, and completed with a powerful bass that ties this ultimate immersive home theatre experience together. The 116-inch TriChroma LED TV will be available from Australian retailers in 2025.
Hisense grows its range of premium entertainment solutions
Complementing the range-topping 116-inch TriChroma LED TV, Hisense continues to expand its line-up of award-winning premium ULED TVs. 2025 will see Hisense release more 100” TVs than ever before, as well as elevate the accessible U6 range to the ULED quality benchmark.
Leaning into Hisense’s leadership in big-screen TVs, the popular U8 Series will introduce a new 100-inch offering, joining its range of 55-to-85-inch TVs. Hisense has continued to improve the U8 series, with the 2025 model achieving 5,000 nits of brightness, sporting 1,500+ dimming zones (up from 2,000 nits and 1,000+ dimming zones in 2024) and supporting 165Hz capabilities thanks to Game Mode Ultra, the elevated Game Mode Pro experience, improving the colour, contrast and clarity.
In line with the U8, Hisense has improved the U7 Series, offering customers choice in screen sizes ranging from 55-inch up to the impressive 100-inch. Hisense has also improved peak brightness up to 2,000 nits (up from 1,500 nits). The U7 Series will also support Game Mode Ultra, unlocking 165Hz capabilities to ensure a smooth, immersive and vibrant gaming experience.
As a major milestone this year, Hisense has added to its ULED range, elevating the U6 Series to its premium ULED quality benchmark. To reach the ULED benchmark, the Hisense team introduced a raft of improvements, including the implementation of Game Mode Pro into the U6 Series capabilities, elevating the refresh rate potential of the device to 144Hz (from 60Hz), leveraging technologies like Dolby Vision IQ and QLED Quantum Dot to reach the ‘ULED’ certification.
Rounding out the TV range, 2025 will see Hisense release a new 75-inch CanvasTV offering to those seeking an aesthetic and stylish entertainment solution, adding to the existing 55 to 65-inch options available and giving customers even more flexibility to design their own, unique and personalised home entertainment solutions thanks to CanvasTV’s Art Mode.

Raising the soundbar
Sound and vision go hand-in-hand. As leaders in entertainment, Hisense takes a holistic approach to premium home entertainment, with the launch of key features and two new products at CES2025, designed to ensure all customers can enjoy an integrated sound and picture experience.
Hisense is raising the bar on sound accessibility across the TV range too, through the implementation of low-power Bluetooth capabilities on select models, furthering the support for assistive listening devices like hearing aids and improving the audio clarity by up to 30%. This technology also enables simultaneous, high-precision broadcasting of multiple audio tracks from a single source, allowing several users to independently select and listen to different audio streams, enhancing flexibility and user experience.
Designed for big-screen enthusiasts, the new Hisense HT Saturn combines cutting-edge sound technology with intuitive features to deliver a seamless, cinematic experience for movie lovers, gamers, and music aficionados alike. The system includes four wireless satellite speakers and a standalone 6.5-inch subwoofer, offering maximum placement flexibility without the tangle of cables. Its sleek, minimalist design seamlessly blends into any décor, proving that exceptional sound doesn’t have to come at the expense of style. Elevating sound quality and harmony, the 4.1.2, 13-speaker system integrates Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technology, enveloping users in multidimensional soundscapes for an unparalleled audio experience.
The AX5140Q continues to innovate on Hisense’s expertise in audio technology, providing customers with accessible 5.1.4 sound solutions that work seamlessly with your TV. When paired with a 2025 Hisense TV, both the AX5140Q and the HT Saturn will leverage the ‘Hi-Concerto’ feature that will recognise and incorporate the TV’s sound solution into its synchronised soundstage, while ‘Room Calibration’ tailors the audio output to fit the room, ensuring customers get the most complete audio experience available.
The 2025 Home Entertainment range will feature the 116-inch TriChroma LED TV, U8QAU, U7QAU and U6QAU, as well as the HT Saturn and AX5140Q. Further information on Hisense’s full 2025 TV and soundbar range, including pricing, will be shared soon.
