Fitbit Announces Charge 5, Daily Readiness Score, and Partnership with Will Smith

Three new exciting announcements from Fitbit including the launch of our most advanced health and fitness tracker to date, Fitbit Charge 5. In addition, Fitbit has also announced the introduction of a new tool, Daily Readiness Score and a new brand ambassadorship with actor, producer, and musician, Will Smith.

Fitbit Charge 5
Fitbit Charge 5 is Fitbit’s most advanced health and fitness tracker to date, helping users keep a pulse on their fitness, stress, heart health, sleep and overall wellbeing. Equipped with a thinner, sleek design, colour touchscreen and up to seven days of battery life, Charge 5 offers convenient features to help users focus on what’s most important.

Priced at $269.95 AUD, Charge 5 is available for pre-order from Fitbit.com and select retailers and includes a six-month Fitbit Premium membership for new or returning users.

Daily Readiness Score
As we continue to evolve our understanding of fitness and holistic wellness, Fitbit Premium will be releasing new features and tools including a Daily Readiness Score. Using insights from user’s Fitbit devices including, activity, heart rate variability, and sleep, users will receive a Daily Readiness Score which will help them decide if they should prioritise a workout or recovery.

Daily Readiness will be available soon in 18 languages for Fitbit Premium members.

Fitbit and Will Smith
Actor, producer, and musician, Will Smith, is joining the Fitbit family as the newest ambassador. Through the partnership, Will will help develop exclusive Fitbit Premium content including health and wellness programs focusing on both physical and mental aspects of strength. Users will be able to access videos featuring Will and his training team including HIIT, mindfulness and strength training sessions.

Fitbit Premium users can take part in Will’s fitness journey from Monday 27, September.
