Summary: A nice side story that seems to be at a point in the series you can jump into without having to know too much about what went before.

It's clobbering time!

The Human Torch has been left in permanent “flame on!” mode and boosted after being shot up with cosmic raids as he had an affair with Dr Doom’s missus. Ben Grimm’s adopted children take advantage of their alien shape shifting powers to hit up the same houses 12 times for trick or treating, not knowing that the adults they took with them talked to each other. Being forced to return all the Halloween candy as punishment a spaceship turns up and tries to abduct them back to the fighting arena and things kick off.

Given this is quite late in this storyline I did not feel like I was missing anything that happened before. Seems like this story is at a lull between major plot points and they are just doing a ongoing day to day story after some big events recently.

There were some funny bits and pieces like Ben Grimm not knowing what the hangman word was even though it is something he says all the time and Spiderman thinking he can handle the Human Torch’s boosted flames until he could not.

If you are a fan of the Fantastic Four you would have been following this one already and it is also good for just casual fans or new people as there are no big plot issues you will miss just coming into it now.
