EPOS Releases Updated GSX 1000 2nd edition Worldwide

Expert audio brand EPOS unveiled their new external sound card – the GSX 1000 2nd edition. Building on the great success of the GSX 1000, the second edition provides an updated design, improved microphone performance and a USB-C power input. The device also features state of the art 7.1 surround sound and allows for the ability to customize sound profiles to players’ exact preferences without affecting the clarity of game chat. The GSX 1000 2nd edition delivers a supercharged audio experience all in one exceptional device.

New and Refreshed Design
The GSX 1000 2nd edition introduces modern visual changes such as a sleek, black-on-black aesthetic with a freshly redesigned Windows-synced volume wheel and touchscreen LED display. The sound card is now powered by the included USB-C cable, improving on the micro-USB cable from the original GSX 1000. Also updated is the microphone performance which upgrades the communication path to offer crystal clear voice pick-up via the upgraded 16-bit/48KHz sound path.

Controlled and Customizable Audio Experiences
The proprietary, high-tech audio engine delivers enhanced immersion and improved audio performance. With customizable 7.1 surround sound, the GSX 1000 2nd edition offers deep but natural bass, accurate mids and clear high frequencies to give pinpoint accurate audio cues. Players can make use of the direction sounds option to enable sound amplification in any direction, giving an upper hand in high-intensity online matches. Specifically tuned audio presets such as “Story,” “Esports” and “Neutral” are all included.

Separate Audio Streams
Balancing game audio and voice chat are essential for any gamer, and separate control over game audio and chat streams allows users to adjust the mix on the fly, ensuring communications can cut through the chaos of battle. The GSX 1000 2nd edition allows players to adjust audio mixing with ease. Customizable audio options include surround sound, reverberation, EQ and directional sound, all in tandem with voice chat remaining clear and unprocessed.
