Enjoy a new multisensory experience – the moto e22i gives your entertainment the audio it deserves

Mobile communications leader Motorola has today launched the moto e22i. The latest device in the popular moto e series will be available from 20 October via Motorola and selected partners.

The new moto e22i delivers a whole new level of premium entertainment at an incredibly accessible price point. In a first for the moto e family, the moto e22i provides a full immersion in multidimensional sound thanks to Dolby Atmos®–enabled stereo speakers. The beautifully crafted, premium design also delivers a fluid 90Hz display and remarkable 16MP AI camera system.

The moto e22i stereo speakers deliver 25 per cent more powerful sound¹ than the previous generation moto e, giving improved bass, cleaner vocals, and even more clarity at higher volumes. The full, multidimensional sound of Dolby Atmos® enables users to listen to favourite shows, movies and music with greater depth and a level of immersive detail that places them at the centre of the experience.

The stunning ultra-wide screen features a 6.5″ HD+ display giving a 20:9 aspect ratio to bring content to life. With a speedy 90Hz² refresh rate and powerfully efficient octa-core processor, the moto e22i makes switching between apps and scrolling smoother and more fluid than ever. Depending on the type of content being viewed, auto mode will adjust the screen refresh rate from 90Hz to 60Hz using AI.²

The moto e22i has an incredible 16MP camera system with AI-enabled features and software to take photography to the next level. Users can take social media-ready snaps with the 5MP selfie camera, or use the 2MP depth sensor to blur a background and turn everyday photos into stunning, professional-looking portraits. For an added touch of drama it’s simple to shoot timelapse videos using four different levels of speed to accelerate the action.

The beautiful slimline design includes a fingerprint reader on the side of the device giving access in an instant to unlock the phone. To activate Power Touch simply double tap on the fingerprint reader to get a shortcut to favourite apps and shortcuts.

The moto e22i has 32GB built in storage and launches on AndroidTM 12 (Go edition) delivering a faster, smarter and more privacy-friendly Android experience. From apps opening in seconds with smoother animation, to no more waiting on a blank screen, this OS is committed to saving space and memory.

moto e22i will be available in Australia in Graphite Gray and Winter White, at a starting RRP of $179. Available from JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, Big W, The Good Guys, Mobileciti and Lenovo.com.au. The moto e22i will be available at Vodafone on 16 November 2022.
