EA SPORTS UFC 5 brings on Benoit Saint Denis and More Fighters, Gameplay Adjustments ahead of UFC 302
EA SPORTS UFC 5’s in-game fighter roster additions continue today, furthering our commitment back in April to offer the most authentic gaming experience possible. These new fighters, which stay current with the UFC Top 10 Athlete rankings, represent Frostbite’s hyper-realistic character likenesses and facial motion to complement the game’s next-level environment fidelity.
Following the nearly 20 new fighters introduced to UFC 5 in April, our third round of additions are now live in game and only adds to the most substantial post-launch roster expansion in EA SPORTS UFC history. Each rostered fighter will be available for FREE with this update and we’ll also have one more additional fighter than we previously announced. UFC 302 Fight Week Challenges and Alter Egos will also be released as part of this patch and will be available for play at 4pm PT later today.
The four fighters being added in this patch include:
- Roman Dolidze (#11 MW)
- Luana Pinheiro (#12 SW)
- Benoît Saint Denis (#13 LW)
- Anthony Hernandez (#14 MW)

A rare grappling animation issue in exchanges from the over-under clinch has also been corrected. In addition, Michael Chandler has been added to Welterweight and new Vanity items have been added, among other updates you can check out below.
