xxxHolic may sound like a Hentai title but it is far from it and is from the creators of Tsubasa Chronicles that revolves around Watanuki who has been plagued by spirits all his life and he finally has a chance to rid himself of this curse.

It is quite an obscure anime story that contains elements of action and subtle hints of bondage between Watanuki and Yuko, his mistress or teacher. There is also a romantic triangle that is a common theme among the episodes, however each episode sees our heroes attempting to solve a mystery, whereas Yuko attempts to train Watanuki as her successor.

The storyline is a little clichéd at times that will appeal to anime purists, however where the series does shine is through the artwork that is extremely clean and quite stylised. You might want to check out the first volume of this series if you are after a mystery affair.
