The Fairies is a bright and colourful world filled with fun, excitement and singing. We follow the adventures of Harmony, Rhapsody and Wizzy the Wizard as they sing and dance their way through the disc.

From a parental viewpoint, this disc is a blessing and curse all at once! Your kids are going to love this DVD, the downside is that you are going to know all the words to every song on it, they will fill your nights and days until you realise with a sense of embarrassment that you are actually singing, “My name is Wizzy the Wizard, Wizzy the Wizard’s my name!”.

Fairy fever has taken over my home in a major way. The kids just love all the character’s in the series and we have drawn pictures of Barnaby the Bizzy Buzzy Bee and all the dolls in the house have been transformed into the young Tots. Yet, I really cannot complain.

The Fairies teach through song, dance and action positive values all the way through the show. The backdrops that the actors work against are gorgeous and you can truly understand why the little ones love them so much. The music is upbeat and the singing is great and actually very catchy. It’s simply the fact that the kids can watch it over and over that will drive you nuts!

The audio in presented in stereo and the aspect for the title is 4:3 standard for television. Running for a reasonable 40 minutes, welcome to Fairyland and the delights that await your children.

Also available is the audio CD by the same title! With all of the same fun and excitement as featured on the DVD, this is the perfect way to make your kids happy when the TV isn’t on, or during those dreaded long car trips with the little ones.

Containing bonus tracks, as a parent of small children, I can heartily recommend both products.
