St. Trinian's solely targets the teenage market in this
light-hearted drama comedy about a group of school girls at the
infamous school of St. Trinian's which is a remake of the 1954 film,
the Belles of St. Trinian's.
When the bank threatens headmistress
Camilla Fritton with closure and to compound the situation, the new
Education Minister Geoffrey Thwaites is investigating the school for
their unique teaching methods, this almost archaic school is on the verge of
a breakdown.
Fortunately for the headmistress, this motley crew of
laddettes has banded together in order to save the school from
closure by stealing the acclaimed "Girl with a Pearl Earring"
painting from the National Gallery.
Although the movie features
quite a few stereotypes and clichés, St. Trinian's is still an
entertaining movie that contains quite a few laughs and story twists
to keep you entertained.
With fights, romance and some elements of
action, St. Trinian's is the perfect teenage movie that will be
enjoyed by both male teenagers for the girls attire and by female
teenagers for their bitchiness and overthetop acting.
Good video and audio quality that is matched nicely with some
interesting special features and a thoroughly enjoyable bloopers
reel.
Definitely one for Generation Y!
