set in the turbulent year of 52 B.C. which has the ancient
civilization of Rome on the verge of destruction. Rome Season One is
not your average drama series which features a healthy dose of
action, adventure, romance, murder and betrayal.
Unlike other series
that are based on historical events, Rome not only focuses on the
major players of the Roman Empire such as Julius Caesar, Marc Antony,
Brutus, Pompey and Cassius but also those smaller bricks in the
Roman Empire that include the two soldiers, Titus Pullo and Lucius
Vorenus. After eight years of war and the threat of a civil war
within the streets of Rome, the tale of Rome revolves around a
plethora of characters whose lives are forever linked by these two
plebeians.
Featuring all 12
episodes of Rome with their sinful ways, Rome is definitely not
intended for those who are discouraged by graphic violence and
nudity in order to recreate the birth of modern-day civilization.
