Based on the highly successfully Resident Evil games by Capcom, Sony
have successfully transformed the franchise into a full length movie
epic thanks to the talents of director Makoto Kamiya. Featuring
state of the art computer animation, Resident Evil Degeneration is
quite real at times and is easy to become thoroughly immersed in
this enjoyable movie about evil corporations, zombies and our famous
game heroes Leon S. Kennedy (Paul Mercier) and Claire Redfield
(Alyson Court).
The story itself begins seven years after the diabolical incident at
Raccoon City where the Umbrella Corporation began the testing of a
deadly strain of virus which turned the inhabitants of the city into
flesh eating zombies. For both Leon and Claire, they believe that
the world is now safe, however when a zombie attacks begins at
Harvardville Airport, it's time for Leon and Claire to don their
guns and shoot their way through the undying hoard of zombies and
hopefully prevent the deadly G-Virus from spreading further into the
community.
It
features action, adventure and a touch of romance that not only pays
homage to the computer game series but also zombie genre which fans
of horror or games will truly kick a huge kick out of. Although the
live action Resident Evil movies were cool, Resident Evil
Degeneration is even better and features extraordinary video and
audio quality.
Brilliant!
