Princess Protection Program - Royal Best Friends Extended Edition
There's no denying that this Disney movie is targeting the tween
and teen audience, from the
plot to the characters, however interestingly enough, it can be watched
by older viewers who will also enjoy the story.
Starring Selena Gomez as
Carter, an "average" girl whose life is quite normal, it soon gets
thrown into turmoil when
Rosalinda
(Demi Lovato) comes
into her life, a princess from the country of Costa Lunan who has been
sent undercover for protection.
Carter's father, Major Mason has been
charged to protect Rosalinda or "Rosie" as a dangerous coup in her
country threatens the royal family as General Kane usurps power.
Sent to
the US, Carter cannot stand Rosie who seems as pompous as ever, however
as the two get to know each other, they soon develop a strong
friendship and as they make their way through schools, it becomes a
roller coaster ride.
In terms of teen drama, the Princess Protection Program is a
well written move that features some great acting by all involved from
drama, romance and comedy.
Of course Disney does capitalise on the
fairytale aspect of the movie that tweens and teens... and yes adults
will enjoy. Whether it's a movie watched by a group of girls or a mother
and her daughter, the Princess Protection Program - Royal Best Friends
Extended Edition has something for everyone.
With good video and audio
quality, there's little to complain about this movie that is matched
