Overhaulin' The Pimped Out Collection
Featuring 8 episodes from season 4, Overhaulin' takes the every man,
makes him a mark and then proceeds to overhaul his ride with a limited
budget, hardly any time and produce spectacular results. Legendary
designer Chip Foose leads the brigade with amazing designs based on what
an insider has told him.
Let me clarify, an insider to the person whose car is being overhauled
as that is the twist, the mark doesn't know that they are having their
car worked on! I know that is not a new concept but its still a heck of
a lot of fun.
First cab off the rank is the episode Juvenile Delinquent where
youngster Tanner sets his dad Wade up to be the mark. Wade is under the
impression that Tanner has gone joyriding in his 1967 Chevelle and had
been caught, resulting in the car being impounded.
What Wade doesn't know is that now the team at Overhaulin' have his car
and are determined to transform it into the car of his dreams.
The great thing about this show is that there is a great outcome every
episode. I think that the show is very positive for kids to watch and
see what can be done if you put your mind to it. The teams are totally
professional and the story behind each car is well told. You look
forward to seeing just what can be done with a car that needs some love
in order to become the vehicle of it's owners dreams.
The quality of the video is just what you would expect of a made for TV
series. It's nice and clear and easy to view. The audio is in Dolby
Digital Stereo. It's a well put together set that enthusiasts should
enjoy.
