I'm Not There is an unusual insight into the world of Bob Dylan who is played by six actors at various stages of Dylan's life. Amazingly enough, director Todd Haynes actually succeeds at creating an insightful movie about this music legend.

Featuring some stunning performances by Christian Bale, Cate Blanchett, Marcus Carl Franklin, Richard Gere, Heath Ledger, Ben Whishaw, Julianne Moore, Charlotte Gainsbourgh, Michelle Williams, David Cross, Bruce Greenwood, Peter Friedman, Terry Haig and Kris Kristofferson, this movie is no slouch when it comes to star power and some stellar performances.

Although some of the actors are a little dull when portraying Dylan such as Richard Gere, other such as the Cate Blanchett persona of the rock legend is quite outstanding. The commentary by Haynes on the disc is also another impressive feature of this collection which is thoroughly interesting and match that with a plethora of extras plus stunning modern renditions of Dylan's classics and this is definitely a movie for all lovers of music.
