Ann and Nancy
Wilson return again as "Heart" with their brand new 2007 live
concert performance that re-lives the "Dreamboat Annie" album
which also features classic covers from Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd
and The Who.
Even though the Wilson sisters are in their mid
50's now, this reunion is quite inspirational and they are as
good as they were when they first started singing and performing as "Heart".
It's
amazing that this album was released in 1976, however the
lyrics are still as powerful as they were in the beginning.
Featuring an engaging interview with Ann and Nancy Wilson, they
really give the viewer an insight into the understanding of the ups and
downs that they experienced as "Heart".
The sisters are backed
by a five piece band and listening to songs such as "Magic Man"
and "Black Dog" not only take you back to the glory days of rock
and roll, still sends shivers up your spine
and their voice is still quite hard, even in this varied day and
age of music of all sorts.
With good
picture quality and Dolby
Digital 5.1, this is as close as most of us mere mortals will
ever get to experience Heart again.
Definitely one
for the Heart fans!
