Adult Swim are responsible for some of the world’s most amusing comedy series and their latest addition to the DVD market is Volume 3 of Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law that features classic cartoon characters (more specifically Hannah Barbera) in a comedic court room based drama.

Aimed at the adult market, the pop culture references are priceless as is the characterisation of all the characters and match that with the voice talents of Gary Cole as Harvey and Paget Brewster as Birdgirl and their interpretations of the characters is pure Champaign comedy and sometimes makes you squirm at some of the political incorrectness. Classic!

For those unaware of Adult Swim’s Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law, it revolves around a former superhero turned lawyer which features some great anecdotes and a plethora entertaining guest stars from Magilla Gorilla to Fred Flintstones.

In the current volume, we see Harvey dealing with the death of Phil Ken Sebben (the once former Falcon 7), Birdgirl attempting to become part of the firm and the employees of Sebben & Sebben engaging in an employee orientation video that will have you shocked, entertained and best of all, taken on a journey that is as far as mainstream as possible.

The episodes are quite in this current season as Harvey attempts to defend Morocco Mole or Phil attempting to pickup Birdgirl. My favourite episode of the series is "Free Magilla" which stars Magilla Gorilla who decides to press a lawsuit again Mr. Peebles for unlawful imprisonment.

Definitely one of the best Adult Swim DVD's around!
