Hancock's Half Hour: Volume 1
Tony Hancock ruled
the airwaves during his time and it only made sense to give the guy a TV
show by the same name as his radio one. Add to the hilarity of the radio
show, sprinkle in some Sid James and you know that you are in for some
fantastic comedic moments that have passed the test of time.
Episodes on the
disc are:
The
Alpine Holiday
Air
Steward Hancock: The Last of the Many
The
Lawyer: The Crown v Sidney James
Competitions: How to Win Money and Influence People
There’s an Airfield at the Bottom of My Garden
The humour that is
used is not confined to the times that it was written either so you
should find that you enjoy it as much now as they did then when it was
released. Hancock has a great sense of timing and his cohorts make for
spectacular viewing.
Give it a shot. |
