Dave in Life
It's finally here...
One of the best new comedians, Dave Zwolenski, as he takes the
viewer on a comical adventure as he explores a variety of jobs that
include a sports hero, a sex entrepreneur, a hunter, a politician, a
pensioner, a radio shock jock and a controversial artist. WTF?
That's
right, Dave Zwolenski attempts to do the unimaginable that many of us
have dreamed as he walks in the footsteps of a variety of professions.
What makes this series so appealing is the fundamentals of Dave's humour
that borders on shyness and some unimaginable questions and situations
that will leave you flabbergasted and in stitches.
Although the humour
is a large piece of this series, Dave successfully gives the viewer a
social commentary on the social issues of the world and the broader
picture as he shows the viewer what's it like to walk in these different
shoes.
Thankfully Madman have collected this awesome SBS series and
although I missed the first few episodes when originally aired, re-visiting
the series from the start just made the experience even more enjoyable
and I could highly recommend this collection to lovers of good
comedy. |
