The integrated DLP® Link™ synchronization system enables a perfect interplay between the projector and 3D shutter glasses which are standard supplied with these projectors.
The W1400 utilises frame interpolation technology, which enables the projector to display smooth image sequences without blur effects through the calculation of intermediate images. As a result, the W1400 is a projector suited perfectly to projecting high motion visuals, such sporting events like the World Cup, making it a great choice for any sporting fan that wants to bring the fervor of soccer fandom and the heights of sporting greatness to their living room.
“We’ve worked toward improving the image quality, affordability and accessibility of projectors,” said Moelle. “Installing these home entertainment models can be as simple as placing the projector on your coffee table and connecting it to power and a DVD player or set top box. Removing the hassle means that any user can experience their favourite sports or movies on a picture perfect big screen, regardless of their technical know-how.”
These new home entertainment projectors are equipped with lens shift and zoom functionalities which assist the user produce optimal settings and alignment of the projected image. The high zoom ratio of 1.5:1 and 1.6:1 for the W1300 and W1400 respectively, makes sure that the projection area will be fully utilised.
Connectivity is impressive with 2x HDMI, 1x composite video (RCA), 1x component video input, audio L/R (RCA), USB and RS232 (DB-9 pin) making these new projectors extremely flexible in any way of home entertainment.
