Summary: More bounty hunting fun with Valance. The bounty hunters hate each other more than anyone else it seems.

Get him Valance!

Valance is on the trail of Nakano Lash, his former business associate on a job that led to the current conflict between two major clans in the underworld. Everyone else is looking for her to claim the bounty and Valance remembers what happened the last time he was on the planet where he is currently making an enquiry, things did not end well.

Par for the course in this line of work but sometimes he seems to bring it on himself. Things do not look like they are going to end well, who is going to come after him this time?

Keeping with the tone of this series there is plenty of action to go round in this story both from Valance and some of the other characters. You do go into some of Valance’s back story and more of the character motivation is explored.

This and the Darth Vader comic are two of the series that seem to have the most interest. I have even heard people saying they wanted to get the Darth Vader story but it is sold out or had not arrived yet. There are some hints of the other current and upcoming series and Dr Aphra is mentioned by name. The Mandalorian proved that you don’t need to use the standard characters from the films every time and there is room for the stories to go in other directions.

I would recommend this one if you are a fan of action and want stories where things happen and do not have to read through dozens of issues to get the story. This is a short and sweet series but still manages to pack a lot of things in and I would be interested in seeing where it goes from here.
