Summary: A pretty cool story with interesting character designs and an original setting, well worth a look.

Fun and original

A mysterious masked player Joe is beating all comers at the Round House Arcade in Infinity City, but it seems he has been trying to lay low and someone has been looking for him. Will he and the arcade survive this time?

I must admit the hook into this for me was the arcade setting, I can still remember all the unsavoury video game arcades in the CBD in the 1980s and early 1990s until the Playstation killed them dead (Timezone admitted as much in their own magazine.) I still laugh at one place getting arcade games, then getting rid of them as they “attracted teenagers hanging around swearing”, well yeah!

It is a very colourful comic and does well to introduce the characters in a way that is easy to follow and you don’t have to read too much into it. I am sure you could follow along easily enough if you start reading later in the series too.

One for retro arcade gaming fans and fans of this artist and writer.
