Amazon today announces the launch of the newest generation of the Echo Show 15, available to purchase now. The new device features a 15.6″ Full-HD (1080p) smart display and is designed to fit seamlessly into the kitchen, or any open living space. Integrating what customers love most about Echo Show and Fire TV – the upgraded Echo Show 15 is perfect for both immersive entertainment and functionality.

The upgraded Echo Show 15, which can be mounted on a wall or placed on a counter, is an intuitive smart home management device that provides effortless control of smart home devices either via Alexa or the smart home dashboard.
With a built-in smart home hub, the Echo Show 15 is compatible with Matter, Thread and Zigbee devices meaning users can seamlessly control smart home devices such as switches, lights, and plugs, or check live camera feeds to see what’s happening around your home, with voice or a few taps of their smart home favourites widget.
Family Organisation and Connection
Echo Show 15 is designed to sit in the heart of the home. Its stunning smart display helps the busy Australian household stay on-track with customisable widgets that show key information on calendars and schedules, weather, display family photos, lists and music choices.
With the upgraded camera – equipped with 3x zoom and wide field of vision – video calls feel even more natural and personal with the powered-up centered, auto framing camera. Added noise reduction technology means that calls with loved ones are even clearer, no matter what’s happening in the background. Customers can also call close family and friends – accessible via the ‘Top Connections’ widget – drop in on other Echo devices from room to room, or even check-in on pets when away from home.
When not in use, the home screen can be turned into a stylish digital photo frame to show off favourite family memories, with the option to auto curate the selection of images, and invite family and friends to also share photos.
Entertainment Hub
The all-new Echo Show 15 functions as a centralised entertainment hub with built-in Fire TV – and the convenience of a remote included with purchase – to stream over 250,000+ movies and TV episodes from popular streaming services. The new, larger Fire TV widget gives users personalised video recommendations in addition to quick access to their favourite apps, including Prime Video, Apple TV, Netflix, and YouTube.
Whether watching the morning news bulletin while having a cup of coffee, or starting the latest episode of a Prime Video series while cooking dinner before moving to the living room TV to continue watching on a Fire TV Stick, the experience is designed to seamlessly work around customers’ everyday lives. The all new Echo Show 15 is also the first Echo device equipped with Wi-Fi 6E, making Fire TV video and music streaming smoother.
The refreshed audio hub allows users to easily view all their favourite music, podcast and radio content on one screen, with the ability to now quickly group and play audio across these grouped speakers and other Echo speakers in the house.

As always, Alexa and Echo Show devices are designed with multiple layers of privacy protection. Customers have complete transparency and control over their Alexa experience, from the manual mic/camera off button and built-in camera shutter to the ability to delete voice recordings.
Echo Show 15 is also designed with sustainability in mind, with the product being made of 41% recycled materials, and a Low Power Mode which reduces energy consumption when idle. 99% of Echo Show 15’s packaging is made of wood fibre-based materials from responsibly managed forests or recycled sources.
