Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Out Now For Nintendo Switch

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is out today for Nintendo Switch. Players can put their battle strategy to the test in turn-based, strategic missions while manoeuvring land, air and naval units. The Game Boy Advance classics have been rebuilt from the ground up, featuring all the gameplay of the originals with the added ability to challenge friends online.

Players enrol in the Orange Star army, honing strategies in Advance Wars’ campaign mode as they repel the Blue Moon, Green Earth and Gold Comet armies. Then, they can take the fight to the ruthless Sturm and the Black Hole Army in Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising.

In both campaigns, it’s possible to fast-forward gameplay and rewind turns for a smoother tactical experience. There’s a host of different challenges, which can be played using any strategy or Commanding Officer. Depending on the final score players will earn coins to unlock more Commanding Officers as well as extra challenges.

Up to four players can fight it out in local* multiplayer, or battle online** in one-on-one competition to see who comes out on top.
Additionally, the Design Room features custom maps – mountainous battlefields where aircraft are key, or watery combat zones are just waiting to be designed. Map creations can then be shared with friends to see if they can rise to the challenge.
