Aces of Thunder will open its skies to non-VR players on PC and PS5

Gaijin Entertainment is thrilled to announce that Aces of Thunder, the highly anticipated VR flight combat simulation game, will also be available for non-VR players on both PC and PlayStation 5. The ‘flat screen’  mode of Aces of Thunder is planned to be released shortly after the VR version, and non-VR players are already welcome to wishlist the game on a platform of their choosing.

“Flat screen mode will allow us to bring more players to the game and let VR-equipped users prove the advantages of having a headset in really immersive flight simulation dogfights”, said Kirill Yudintsev, the creative director of Gaijin Entertainment. “While the game is already at the polishing stage, the developers are fully committed to release it only when it’s actually done.”

Aces of Thunder is a flight combat simulation game focused on a selection of the most legendary World War I and World War II planes with meticulously recreated cockpits and unprecedented level of immersion, taking advantage of HOTAS controllers. A couple of dozen aircraft from five nations will be available instantly upon purchase. There will be several game modes, including PvP battles with evenly matched opponents, a set of challenging single player missions, and a combat scenario editor for those seeking to play by their own rules. Victory in Aces of Thunder will be determined by skill, precision, and mastery of the skies.

Aces of Thunder is planned to be launched simultaneously on PC and PlayStation VR2 in the coming months.

More information on the game is available at the official website and on YouTube channels of VR enthusiasts who are already trying the preview version of the game.
