AOC MONITORS ANNOUNCE TITLE SPONSORSHIP OF HI-REZ OCEANIA CHAMPIONSHIPS 2016
October 25, 2016 – Melbourne – Today Hi-Rez Studios announced AOC, leading manufacturer of gaming monitors, as the naming rights sponsor for the upcoming Hi-Rez Oceania Championships 2016, presented by AOC. The Oceania Championships features live competitive gaming including the SMITE Oceania Championships and Paladins Invitational Final with a $65,000 AUD prize pool and the chance to qualify for international competition at Hi-Rez Expo in January 2017. AOC AGON monitors will be used at Hi-Rez Oceania Championships, chosen for their performance in the highly competitive world of esports.
President of Hi-Rez Studios Stew Chisam welcomed AOC as the title sponsor; “We’re really pleased by the growth of SMITE and fantastic launch of Paladins in the Oceania region. Alongside our partners at AOC, Hi-Rez are excited to help bring a major esports events to our Aussie fans, players and community this November.”
In addition to Hi-Rez Oceania Championships 2016, AOC will also be sponsoring the final split of SMITE Oceania Pro League, and the Paladins Oceania Invitational League, each broadcast is live weekly.
AOC has a history of supporting esports, including partnerships with leading team organisations and league globally, and has recently launched specialised gaming brand AGON; offering premium performance to gamers and esports enthusiasts.
