Port Fairy announces first line up and tickets
The Port Fairy Folk Music Festival celebrates another milestone along the happy trails it has traveled since December 1977 presenting its 40th edition next March. Surf, sun, oceans of music along with over 100 acts across 20 venues, presenting 200 shows over 4 days from 11-14 March 2016.
Forty festivals ago the festival came to the town of Port Fairy, literally on the back of a truck as a freewheeling cultural freedom ride of sorts. In 2016 they celebrate the achievement of community, volunteers, music industry, artists, staff and a passionate audience who together make this a great festive gathering. On Monday the subscriber allocation sold out by lunchtime. The festival now announces a new release of tickets and the first line up of acts:
