Street Corn Cultivates Victory at UNIHACK 2025, powered by Logitech
UNIHACK 2025 has officially announced this year’s winner, Growth Garden, by team Street Corn, six talented students from Monash University. The 2025 hackathon saw 750 students develop 135 incredibly innovative projects over 48 hours, highlighting exceptional student-driven technological advancements.
Judges from UNIHACK and Logitech reached their verdict today after a week of deliberation, impressed with the team’s creativity, technical prowess, and real-world impact.
“UNIHACK continues to be a launchpad for the next generation of technology leaders,” said Terence Huynh, Founder of UNIHACK.
“Every year, we are amazed by the depth of creativity and technical expertise demonstrated by our students. Growth Garden stood out for its thoughtful design and meaningful purpose, delivering a fun and engaging experience while seamlessly integrating innovative ideas to support user growth and habit-building.”
Growth Garden is a calming web app powered by AI, designed to help users cultivate positive habits and regain control over their personal growth. In response to the negative impact of addictive technology and overwhelming digital choices, the app includes an AI assistant named Bruce, who creates personalised routines tailored to each user’s goals. As users complete tasks, they grow a virtual garden filled with plants and decorative items—offering a visual and emotionally rewarding reflection of their progress.
Besides the coveted first place, multiple winners at UNIHACK 2025 receive varying cash prizes and a full set of Logitech MX gear for each team member. With the help of key sponsors, such as Logitech – Platinum, Atlassian – Gold and Datastax – Silver, networking with these industry heavyweights is what UNIHACK promotes offering a stepping stone for students looking to launch their careers in technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
