THE LUCKY DEVILS IS ON FIRE, DEBUT ISSUE RUSHED BACK TO PRINT YET AGAIN
The debut issue of the hot new series The Lucky Devils—by New York Times bestselling writer Charles Soule (Undiscovered Country, The Endless Vessel, Star Wars) and critically-acclaimed artist Ryan Browne (Curse Words, God Hates Astronauts)—has sold out completely at the distributor level yet again. Image Comics has fast-tracked the series for reprint this week in order to keep up with escalating demand.
The reprint of The Lucky Devils #1 will feature exciting new cover art by superstar artist Jenny Frison, in both a standard and a virgin foil version.
“I know, I know—the obvious conclusion is that we made a deal with the devil to get this book into as many hands as possible, but I swear to god… that’s not how it went! If Satan’s involved here, he’s just helping us out because he digs the book,” confessed Soule. “In any case, it remains phenomenally wonderful that so many people are connecting with our story about temptation, good, evil, and awesome little punk-rock devils desperately trying to change their lives for the better by messing with all of humanity. I’m particularly happy that the new printing will keep giving retailers and readers a chance to get in on this story on the ground floor. Gremlins meets The Good Place in this new series from the duo behind smash-hit Eight Billion Genies. The Lucky Devils is a tale of two rebellious demons who decide to start a revolution in Hell—and the two ordinary, 20-something humans they’re going to manipulate to do it. A cheeky, satirical look at Good and Evil, The Lucky Devils explores Faustian bargains and temptation in a rip-roaring, hilarious new way.
The Lucky Devils was first announced at New York Comic Con and whipped Eight Billion Genies fans into a flurry of anticipation for Soule and Browne’s new project together.
